Alongside our national AUSactive win, Inna Essence in Underwood has been named 2026 Logan Business Distinction Awards winner for Sports and Leisure, and 2026 Queensland State Winner in Health, Fitness & Wellbeing Services at the Australian Achiever Awards. One recognises our contribution to the Logan community. The other is based entirely on what our members told independent assessors about us. Together, they show a studio that’s valued both by its city and by the members who train here every week.
Recognised at home, and rated by our members
Awards mean different things depending on who’s doing the judging. The Logan Business Distinction Awards are run by the Logan Chamber of Commerce and celebrate the businesses shaping the City of Logan. The Australian Achiever Awards don’t have judges at all — they interview a business’s own clients and score the results. We’re proud to have won both this year.
What is the Logan Business Distinction Award for Sports and Leisure?
The Logan Business Distinction Awards recognise the businesses that make Logan a better place to live, work and move. Inna Essence was named winner in the Sports and Leisure category at the awards evening on 11 September 2026 at the Logan Entertainment Centre — the same night Andrea and Anna were in Sydney for the AUSactive gala. Our dedicated Administrative Assistant Renee, along with an Inna Essence studio member, attended the evening and accepted the award.
What the category recognises:
- Local contribution. A studio that’s grown with the southside community, not just in it.
- Accessibility. $10 Active & Healthy classes and rehabilitation programs that keep people moving through every life stage.
- Employment and training. A team of local instructors, mentored in-house to international standards.
- Longevity. Members who’ve trained with us for years, and a business that’s kept growing through rising costs.
What do these awards mean for someone thinking about their first class?
Plenty of studios say they’re welcoming. These awards are evidence. If you’re an individual in your 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s who hasn’t set foot in a studio for years, or ever, here’s what the Achiever results tell you: the people who come here feel looked after, listened to and well taught. That’s not marketing, it’s what members said when someone independent asked them.
Our advice hasn’t changed. Start where you are. Come to a studio tour, ask every question you have, and give yourself three weeks of consistent classes before you decide anything. Strength, balance and confidence build with regularity, not intensity, and our job is to make showing up feel easy.

How are the Australian Achiever Awards different?
This is the award we’re quietly proudest of, because we didn’t write a word of the submission. The Australian Achiever Awards independently contact a business’s clients and rate their experience across eight areas. A score above 80% is considered exceptional. Inna Essence scored 98.81% and was named 2026 Queensland State Winner in Health, Fitness & Wellbeing Services.
